Kathy K has a professional dance background of 18 years - starting her career off as a Sydney Swan Cheerleader for many years then moving into the glamorous, fun world of "Latin" dance - Taking part in training from 2 of the best dancers/performers in Australian Latin Dance, Jose Pirates and Marcone (Brazilian Latin Dance Co)... THE BIGGEST AND BEST LATIN DANCE GROUP IN AUSTRALIAN HISTORY, who started all the Latin Dance Show Hype back in early 1980. She commenced work with Brazilian Latin Dance Co immediately after grueling training, working at the famous restaurant in Camperdown "Rio's Brazilian Churraskaria" - hundreds of weddings/ functions around Sydney & Interstate - Festivals - corporate events etc... For a period of 9 years. 

Year 1999 Kathy K branched out on her own forming her now popular dance group "LATINAS" who have since performed at all major nightclubs - Restaurants - Weddings - Corporate Events - Festivals - all major RSL clubs in Sydney and Interstate - Live TV - Today FM "LatinasDance-A-gram" - and Star City Casino where they have been residents and still are for 2 years now every Fri & Sat night 10pm - 2am in "The Party Pit- Rio Room". Having worked as a writer and promoter for major latin website - she was "Dr Amor" (Dr Love) mending broken hearts and advising all the lovesick Latinos - also the promoter of many major Latin events/parties at venues such as "The Embassy - Double Bay/ Kentra - Double Bay/ Spi Bar - City/ The Establishment - City and the MAJOR EVENT OF AUSTRALIAN LATIN HISTORY "THE LATIN PEOPLES CHOICE AWARDS - TELEVISED EVENT" ...
